surf report: cowells beach

back in the saddle again....whoohoo! i can't believe that it's been so long since the last time i went surfing. it was a gorgeous day! beautiful blue skies...nice warm sun....loverly. yes, i made that up! we went in reverse a little and got breakfast burritos first at our fav burrito place. seriously, that's like have the experience for me. it was like coming home. sad, but true. :-) low tide was a little later in the morning, so we ate and watched the water for a bit...but then we couldn't take it, so we suited up and jumped in. it was so fun! there is something magic about the water. makes everything, stress, worry, all of it, just disappear. i caught a few good waves. they were a little slow and lumpy today, but i didn't care, i was just glad to be out there. big up to my friend rick for spending some time and giving me some pointers. rick is really good, and i'm really not...we're a good team! so, now, i'm back...sore...tired....but happy. i really needed this today. good stuff! oh...and my good friend jasmine says that all posts are better with pictures....here you go....please forgive the camera phone shots. i'm not a pro...you know! :-)

PS...i uploaded the latest LOST video blog post right here in honor of tonight's episode which i will be enjoying in my typical wednesday night fashion. love it! cool....make sure and tune in tomorrow for an update on the new record that i'm making (i can't believe i haven't told you yet). have a great day!

PPS...sharon REALLY got me on a april fools day joke....i mean...really. she's the best! more later!

sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day! love breakfast burritos :) just curious, aren't there a lot of sharks in the N. Cali waters?! have you seen/heard of any encounters with them?

carrie....define "a lot"? i've never seen a shark in the water....but yes, there are sightings all the time....and occasionally a nibble....but usually up around stinson....i'm in santa cruz....all the sharks are stoned there. they don't care about us.

I'm laughing so hard about the stoned sharks! I didn't know you go all the way to Santa Cruz to surf! Looks like a blast!

And they are not high in Stinson? Really?
I think they are high, they just get the munchies really bad.
