new music: say forever

so i have to admit...i felt a little pressure today when i started seeing comments about what "tomorrow's song" would be. honestly....there wasn't a song for tomorrow...err....i mean....today. but then i started thinking that maybe i had one or two others back in the demo vault that i could break out. so here you are....

here's another song that came from a blog post that i wrote awhile back. it will help give the song some context if you read the old post first. go ahead....i'll wait.

ok? cool. so....i hadn't written a song in awhile when this one came around. i was a little nervous, and i'd been fooling around with bits of it for awhile, but just couldn't finish it. sometimes you just need to finish old songs so you can move on to the next one. you know? but i wanted to this one to be special. for me....this song is about enduring. a marathon, not a sprint. choosing to look at the bright side of this crazy adventure we call life. i wanted it to describe a mature relationship full of ups and downs but swirling around the central theme that the two characters are 100% committed to one another...no matter what life throws at them. that's how i feel about sharon and i....that nothing can stop us. that we're in it to win it! ok...i'm getting carried away. just listen....and enjoy!
