now....this is only going to resonate with a small percentage of you....but i'm posting it any way.
sharon and i went to an enchanting wedding at the sausalito marina this weekend. so, so cute! anyhow....we were eating dinner downstairs at the presidio yacht club and i went upstairs to the bar to grab us each a glass of wine, and on my way down i passed this guy...and i knew right away...."i know that dude!!!" should i go back? risk being the goofy fan? of course i should...so i did.
when i was in high school....a budding drummer with rock star dreams in my eyes....local sons, 'faith no more' where huge to me. i remember rocking out to 'epic' and 'the real thing'. pioneers you might say for mainstream success of the chili peppers, korn, papa roach. these guys started it. and since i was a drummer....mike bordin was my focus point in the band. so, when i saw him on saturday night....i knew i had to give him some props. SUPER cool guy. really nice and easy going. listened to my rave and talked to me about his more recent stuff with ozzy and how faith no more is back rehearsing again! no joke!
made my day. so...here's my proof. rock n' roll never dies! love it!
