stress is for the byrds...

ok. i know that there are season's for every time of life...i know....a time to be born, a time to die...turn, turn, turn....i get it. but honestly....i'm so over this one. even that light-hearted melody that made the book of Ecclesiastes popular won't change my mind.

i can barely listen to the news on the radio for fear of going into a panic attack on the road and crashing my car. ok. i'm being a little melodramatic. but seriously...i'm done.

i don't want to hear any more about the economy. the election. wall steet. main street. bailouts. billions. trillions. recession.

bring me the soft, slow breeze of the spring time with the low padder of the ocean in the background. the subtle sound of wind chimes with children laughing and playing around the corner. holding hands with my best friend as we share, without speech, the moment that we wish would last forever. comfort. ease. contentment.

peace...

that's what i want. that's my season. at least...the one that i want. i'm done with this one. lord, bring me peace. please...

less of me...

I totally agree Jeramy! I just don't watch news, listen to cd's in my car and avoid all election stuff!

Thanks for this real post!
