I haven't really had much Peet's coffee, so I'll go against the grain and say Starbucks between the two, but you didn't clearly specify we had to pick one of those two. My favorite beans are actually Dunkin' Donuts - the best beans at the best price!
My favorite coffee is Bollo's coffee in Blacksburg, VA. Best cup of "americano" I've ever had. The end.
My family in Michigan ALWAYS requests that I bring back big bags of Peets when I come home... Of course, all of my clothes end up with a beautiful coffee aroma by the time I arrive. Peets hands down.

Peet's, hands down. There aren't any local shops here, so we order it. Unfortunately, I don't get to drink any right now thanks to pregnancy. ;-)

Peets - for sure. But you need to zip over to Green Beans and buy their beans. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
Definitely Pete's for coffee but Starbucks has more treats.
I'm from Seattle so I have to say starbucks! It's just what i'm used to, I've only had Peet's once and it was no good sorry, blame the barista!
