g'day mate!

so...a friend of a friend is visiting this week from the land down under and it's pretty much my goal to torment her while she's here with every possible australian stereo-type that i can come up with. i will be getting some linguistic aid from my handy dandy ausie-slang dictionary. i can't wait to tell her about my horrible bush oyster last week. maybe she'll have a remedy for me. what are some of your "go to australian jokes"?

don't forget about my 100th blog post contest. be sure and leave a comment to win the prize!

take care....

Now THAT'S a KNOIFE Drick! Hilarious.

I wanna know if they (Aussies) eat with OVER-SIZED utensils and if they are somehow IMMUNE to the devastating intestinal effects of an average fist-sized BLOOMIN ONION that deliciously injury all other people groups. What's their secret? Hmmmmmmm.

J - Want you to add an extra verse to 'You See Me Through' mentioning a cuddly kangaroo named Matilda. Just this week!

Holy Dooley! That dictionary is funny!

But, lets not call you a "Shark Biscuit" okay? I don't like that one so much.

To make her feel welcome we should have a Crocodile Dundee movie viewing marathon, concluded with a meal at the fabulous Outback (added plus, we can test out Steve's Bloomin' Onion question).

G'day, mate!

Steve Joh referred me as well....he's a super winner! As for the Aussie jokes just take any joke about New Zealanders from Flight of the Conchords and pretend that you don't know the difference.
