so....i can not tell a lie, this pic wasn't taken where i surf. in fact....i just found it on the internet and thought it looked cool....BUT...we did have big waves at our spot today. at least, big in comparison to how they usually are. i surf in a pretty safe (beginner) type of spot, but even good surfers were out today taking advantage of the good times. i even spotted a couple of photographers on the shore. snapping pictures of me (no doubt) for the up coming issue of surfer magazine. :-)
but seriously....good times today. beautiful weather. clear blue sky. great waves. what more could you ask for? i know i've said this, but surfing has got to be one of the greatest things on earth. seriously. i know what you're thinking.....filter...this is a family show.
i did just ok again today. had some trouble keeping my balance....but managed to catch a few waves. i have to keep reminding myself that i just started and i'm still very much a beginner. but it's been said before...even a bad day surfing is better than a good day working. :-)
